Embedded Software Engineer (6650)

In this role, you will work at the heart of a cutting-edge network engine, developing low-level embedded software and firmware that powers large-scale, high-performance systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, drive technical initiatives, and contribute to products that operate in demanding, performance-critical environments.

Responsibilities: Develop and optimize embedded firmware in C for advanced networking products. Design and implement low-level software components running close to the hardware. Collaborate with hardware, architecture, validation, and software teams throughout the development lifecycle. Work on multicore and multithreaded systems with a focus on scalability and performance. Analyze, profile, and optimize real-time system performance. Participate in product development from concept through deployment.

Requirements: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in embedded software or firmware development. Strong hands-on experience with C programming. Experience developing software for embedded systems. Advantages Experience with SoC development and architecture. Experience working in Linux environments. Multicore or multithreaded programming experience. Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols. Experience with performance profiling, optimization, and real-time systems.
