Senior Board Design Engineer
A leading technology company is looking for an experienced Board Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary hardware team developing advanced, high-performance networking systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of complex high-speed digital and analog boards, from architecture and schematic design through PCB layout, bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting in the lab.
Responsibilities
Design and develop high-speed digital and analog circuit boards. Own schematic design and oversee PCB layout activities. Work with complex high-speed interfaces such as 112G Ethernet, PCIe Gen5, and DDR5. Perform board bring-up, validation, testing, and high-precision signal measurements in the lab. Address Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) challenges. Troubleshoot complex hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Evaluate new hardware solutions, technologies, and components. Review schematics, PCB layouts, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Collaborate closely with R&D, system, production, and engineering teams.
Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware / board design, mandatory. Strong experience with PCB technology and layout for digital and analog circuits. Solid understanding of stack-up, placement, routing, SI/PI, and high-speed design. Experience with high-speed interfaces such as Ethernet 112G, PCIe Gen5, DDR5, or similar technologies. Hands-on experience with board bring-up, lab testing, and high-precision signal measurement. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities. Deep understanding of system architecture and multidisciplinary hardware systems. Excellent written and verbal English. Programming knowledge is an advantage.
