A leading technology company is looking for an NPI & System Product Engineer to lead the transition of advanced networking and Data Center systems from late-stage R&D validation through NPI and into mass production.
About the Role
You will serve as the technical link between R&D, NPI teams, and global Contract Manufacturers (CMs), supporting DVT-to-PVT transitions, new production line setup, production ramp-up, yield optimization, and hands-on failure analysis.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support product transition from DVT completion through PVT and High-Volume Manufacturing. • Support the setup and deployment of new production lines at global manufacturing sites. • Ensure production readiness, including BOM readiness, manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and production testing. • Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive yield and cycle-time improvements. • Perform hands-on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and debugging of hardware and production failures. • Work closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to resolve product and process issues during production ramp-up.
Requirements
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree. • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in NPI / System Product Engineering within telecom, networking, Data Center, enterprise servers, or optical hardware. • Experience with DVT-to-PVT transitions, production line setup, and volume ramp-up at Contract Manufacturers. • Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing and testing processes, including PCBA, box-build and system/rack integration. • Understanding complex digital hardware, including networking ASICs, high-speed SerDes, power systems, and optical transceivers. • Hands-on troubleshooting and RCA/debugging capabilities. • Fluent English and willingness to travel to overseas manufacturing sites.
