Senior Mechanical Engineer (6830)

A fast-growing defense technology startup on an incredible growth trajectory is looking for a highly motivated, talented, and passionate Mechanical Engineer to join the core R&D team in Tel-Aviv and push the boundaries of mechanical design.

Role Overview: In this impactful role, you will take full ownership of end-to-end mechanical design for our highly complex systems. Working within a talented team of mechanical designers, you will be responsible for bringing innovative concepts to life- from initial sketching and advanced structural analysis to moving mechanisms and full-scale production. Responsibilities: ● End-to-End Development from Scratch: Own the entire mechanical development lifecycle, translating high-level operational requirements into mature, production-ready systems.

● Complex Multi-Disciplinary Design: Solve intricate and highly challenging engineering puzzles, designing complex structures and advanced moving mechanisms from the ground up.

● Advanced Simulations & Analysis: Conduct rigorous mechanical, thermal, and structural simulations (FEA) to validate designs against extreme conditions.

● Prototyping & Testing: Lead the integration, hands-on assembly, and field-testing of prototypes to iterate and perfect the system.

● Production & Vendor Management: Collaborate with manufacturing partners to select and optimize diverse manufacturing technologies (CNC, hydraulics, composites, welding, plastics).

Requirements: ● Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant academic degree.

● Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a Mechanical Designer.

● Technical Expertise: Deep experience in designing complex structures and advanced moving mechanisms.

● Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities.

● Manufacturing Knowledge: Rich familiarity with diverse manufacturing technologies (CNC machining, hydraulics, composite materials, welding, plastics).

● Defense Background: Prior experience in defense companies – Significant advantage.
