Fraud Team Leader (6771)

We’re looking for an experienced Fraud Team Leader to lead a team of analysts investigating online fraud, platform abuse, and vulnerabilities across digital services. This role combines team leadership, hands-on research, and technical investigation. You’ll define research strategies, guide investigations into emerging fraud tactics, and leverage technical tools and research environments to validate abuse scenarios and develop actionable insights for clients.

Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fraud threat analysts, setting priorities and providing ongoing feedback. Define research strategies and methodologies aligned with client needs and business objectives. Investigate fraud schemes and abuse vectors across web and mobile platforms, including social media, apps, forums, and the dark web. Guide the technical validation of abuse scenarios and identify vulnerabilities in platform behavior and fraud detection mechanisms. Drive the development and operation of research environments, investigative tools, and automation capabilities. Analyze datasets, telemetry, and technical artifacts to identify patterns and generate actionable intelligence. Maintain strong OPSEC practices throughout research activities. Present findings and mitigation recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements: 5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, CTI, fraud research, security research, or a related technical investigative field. 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring analysts, either as a people manager or technical/team lead. Strong hands-on experience with OSINT and WEBINT, including investigations across social media, apps, and the dark web. Technical proficiency with investigative environments, APIs, logs, automation, and research tools. Strong understanding of OPSEC and its practical implementation in research activities. Proven ability to manage multiple investigations, prioritize tasks, and deliver under tight deadlines. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Advantages: Experience with fraud detection, platform abuse, red teaming, or technical validation of abuse scenarios. Background in scripting, automation, or developing research tools. Experience analyzing large datasets, telemetry, and technical indicators. Additional language skills.
