Hardware Engineer - Product Release Engineering (6729)

Job Description: We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering & Development team, focusing on Product Release Engineering. In this role, you will serve as a hands-on engineering function within the development team, supporting boards and electronic systems throughout the entire product lifecycle, from detailed design and prototyping through testing, debugging, and full design maturity. The position involves in-depth board-level engineering, electronic system debugging and root-cause analysis, design closure, and close technical collaboration with manufacturing and assembly partners.

Responsibilities:

· Drive design closure and engineering documentation release, including ECO management.

· Lead and implement engineering changes resulting from design improvements and DFX considerations.

· Perform in-depth debugging and root-cause analysis at the component and board level.

· Lead and execute complex board-level reworks and modifications.

· Serve as the engineering authority and technical point of contact for manufacturing and assembly partners.

· Work closely with manufacturers to ensure a smooth transition from development to mass production.

· Support hardware maturation from prototype stages through production readiness.

Requirements:

· 3-5 years of experience in hardware development, integration, or product engineering teams.

· Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and PCB layout files.

· Proven experience working with advanced laboratory test and measurement equipment.

· Proven experience with deep, component-level debugging of complex electronic boards.

· Familiarity with ECO processes and engineering change management.

· Experience working with Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers.

· Strong systems thinking and ability to independently troubleshoot and solve complex engineering problems.

· Experience with drone development is an advantage.
