Cryptographic Systems Engineering Lead (6728)

About the Role We are looking for a Cryptographic Systems Engineering Lead to join a unique team responsible for developing advanced protection capabilities for defense systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design cryptographic architectures for the protection of defense systems, including algorithm selection and protocol definition.
• Lead the development and implementation of cryptographic models supporting system protection mechanisms, including readiness for the post-quantum era.
• Provide cryptography-related guidance and consulting to engineering teams involved in system development.
• Define system protection architectures and perform detailed system-level design.
• Write system requirements, design documents, procedures, and test specifications.
• Stay up to date with developments in cryptography and cybersecurity, identify opportunities for improvement, and introduce new technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant exact science discipline – required.
• Knowledge and understanding of cryptography – required.
• Experience in systems engineering for multidisciplinary systems and/or embedded hardware/software development – required.
• Significant professional experience or training in cybersecurity – required.
• Background in military or technology units specializing in cryptography/encryption – an advantage.
• M.Sc. in a scientific or engineering discipline – an advantage.
• Familiarity with communication protocols and communication network security – an advantage.
• Cybersecurity-related professional training and certifications – an advantage.
