Quality Inspector - Incoming & Final Inspection | COC

Location: Yokneam| Travel to supplier sites nationwide

An Israeli defense-tech startup developing a long-range loitering munition - is looking for Quality Inspector

Role Overview

Take end-to-end responsibility for product quality throughout the supply and production chain, from incoming inspection of components to final product release (COC/COA). The role combines hands-on inspection, dimensional measurement, non-conformance management, and close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Incoming & Final Inspection: Perform physical, visual, and dimensional inspections of raw materials, assemblies (BTP/BTS), and finished products against drawings, specifications, and standards. Measurements: Use manual and computerized inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dedicated inspection tools, and CMM/XYZ. Documentation Management: Review and approve supplier quality documentation (COC/COA, FAI), verify manufacturing records (Travelers, ATP), and sign release certificates. Non-Conformance Management: Initiate and manage NCRs, follow up on supplier corrective actions (SCAR), and participate in MRB activities. Field Work: Perform source inspections at supplier and subcontractor sites. Requirements

Experience & Drawings: 3-5 years as a Quality Inspector (Incoming/Final) in an industrial or technological environment; strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Inspection & English: Proven experience with manual and computerized measurement equipment; very good technical English. Quality Systems: In-depth familiarity with FAI, ATP, NCR, MRB, SCAR, and AQL; experience with ERP systems (Priority/SAP preferred) and QMS. Mobility & Approach: Driver's license and willingness to travel to supplier sites across the country; excellent interpersonal skills, independence, high attention to detail, and professional assertiveness. Internal Auditor certification (AS9100 / ISO 9001); experience in highly regulated industries such as aerospace or defense, including mechanical, sheet-metal/enclosure, and electronic components. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
