System Engineer – Air-to-Ground Systems (6663)

A leading aerospace and defense technology organization is looking for an experienced System Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering environment and take a key role in the development and engineering management of advanced air-to-ground systems.

What will you be doing? • Leading the engineering development and system-level management of advanced air-to-ground systems • Taking part in the full development lifecycle, from initial design through integration, testing, and system validation • Defining system requirements and coordinating requirements across multiple engineering disciplines • Leading multidisciplinary design teams across electronics, firmware, software, mechanics, aeronautics, materials, safety, reliability, and more • Defining design verification processes, required analyses, and test methodologies • Leading engineering reviews, experiment analysis, feasibility studies, and technology assessments • Supporting system integration and troubleshooting activities with customers and production teams • Evaluating and integrating relevant technologies in Israel and abroad

What are we looking for? • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Physics – mandatory • At least 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering – mandatory • At least 3 years of experience in engineering development roles – mandatory • Experience with complex multidisciplinary airborne systems – an advantage • Experience with airborne weapon systems – an advantage • Strong English communication skills – reading, writing, and speaking • Willingness to travel abroad and work additional hours when required
