Head of Electronic Design – Space Systems

A leading Israeli organization is looking for an experienced Head of Electronic Design to lead a multidisciplinary engineering domain focused on the development of next-generation electronic systems for space applications.

This is a senior leadership opportunity combining people management, engineering ownership, technology strategy, and program execution in a highly advanced technological environment.

Key Responsibilities • Lead the engineering domain responsible for the design and development of advanced electronic systems for next-generation satellite platforms • Manage and professionally develop engineering teams, building capabilities and driving technical excellence • Take overall responsibility for project execution, including budgets, schedules, work plans, status reviews, and management reporting • Lead subcontractors and matrix-based supporting teams to ensure successful delivery • Define and drive the domain’s technology strategy, including core capabilities, new technologies, and future building blocks • Manage interfaces with program management, business units, and multidisciplinary engineering stakeholders

Requirements • B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related field • At least 5 years of hands-on professional experience developing electronic systems • At least 3 years of direct management experience leading engineering/development teams • Strong English communication skills – written and spoken • Israeli citizenship required

Advantages • M.Sc. in Engineering and/or MBA • Experience in the space or satellite industry • Background in military-grade power systems and/or analog electronics

The role is part of an advanced engineering environment developing complex systems across the space, missile, defense, communications, and navigation domains.
