Senior Software Developer – Malware Research Platform

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Software Developer to lead the development of an internal platform used by malware researchers. This role combines technical leadership, software engineering excellence, and close collaboration with expert users to build tools that significantly improve research productivity.

Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end development, architecture, code reviews, and releases. Translate researcher workflows into scalable, high-quality software solutions. Design and operate production-grade agentic/LLM-powered systems with appropriate guardrails and evaluations. Mentor developers and drive engineering best practices. Partner directly with malware researchers to understand their needs and build tools they rely on every day.

Requirements 5+ years of software development experience delivering production systems. Strong Python skills, including asyncio, typing, and pytest. Hands-on production experience with Playwright. Experience building and operating agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, Anthropic Claude Agent SDK, or DSPy. Experience with AI evaluations and observability tools such as LangSmith, Braintrust, or MLflow GenAI. Proven technical leadership, mentoring, and project delivery experience.

Preferred Cybersecurity, malware research, or threat intelligence background. Experience with RAG, vector databases, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Kubernetes), Docker, CI/CD, and observability platforms.
