We are looking for an experienced Hardware Team Lead to lead a talented hardware engineering team developing advanced computing, storage, and communication systems. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, combining board and system design with team leadership, technical mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration throughout the full product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of hardware engineers, fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and professional growth. Drive the hardware architecture and technical direction for complex board and system designs. Oversee board development throughout the entire product lifecycle, from architecture definition and electrical specifications through implementation, bring-up, qualification, and production release. Provide technical leadership for schematic design, component selection, PCB layout reviews, fabrication, and manufacturing readiness. Support hands-on board bring-up, validation, debugging, and root-cause analysis of complex hardware issues. Collaborate closely with firmware, software, mechanical, system, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality products. Guide design reviews, engineering best practices, and development processes to ensure high reliability and quality. Support environmental testing, product qualification, and transition to production. Balance technical execution with project priorities, schedules, and resource planning.
Requirements: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of experience in hardware board design, including several years leading complex hardware projects. Previous experience leading or mentoring hardware engineers (formal or informal leadership). Strong experience with high-speed digital design, including DDR4, FPGA, and mixed-signal systems. Experience with DC/DC power supply design and simulation. Extensive hands-on laboratory experience in signal integrity, power analysis, debugging, and hardware validation. Strong system-level understanding of hardware, firmware, and software integration. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration. Highly motivated, organized, and proactive with a hands-on approach.
Nice to Have: Experience leading hardware development in space, aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability industries. Experience with Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) simulations. Experience using OrCAD and/or Allegro PCB design tools. Experience supporting products from prototype through production and manufacturing.
