Lead Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team and lead the mechanical development of innovative products in the Energy and HVAC industry. In this role, you will play a key part in the product development process, driving technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and manufacturable solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead the mechanical design and development of innovative products within the R&D department. Serve as the technical focal point for mechanical engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle. Drive technical decisions, design reviews, and engineering best practices. Mentor and support members of the mechanical development team. Collaborate closely with Systems, Electrical, Electronics, Firmware, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Management teams. Design and develop complex mechanical and electromechanical systems with a focus on performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability. Support prototype builds, testing, validation, system integration, and product release. Identify technical risks and drive effective engineering solutions. Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within the R&D team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development within an R&D environment. Proven experience leading technical projects or acting as a technical lead. Strong background in the design and development of complex mechanical or electromechanical products. Experience working in multidisciplinary product development teams. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and product lifecycle development. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Fluent English.
