Airborne Systems Engineer

A leading defense technology organization in the missile and space systems sector is seeking an Airborne Systems Engineer to join its business division.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary development activities across hardware, mechanics, algorithms, flight sciences, avionics, and software
• Define performance requirements, system requirements, interfaces, and lead system design activities
• Manage cross-functional engineering teams and domain experts throughout all development phases: concept, requirements, development, validation, testing, production, and product support
• Work within a dynamic and diverse system engineering team
• Interface directly with customers in operational environments, including developing a deep understanding of customer and end-user operational needs and requirements
• Define design verification processes, testing methodologies, qualification (QUAL), environmental conditions, and supporting analyses
• Lead engineering design reviews, analyze and interpret test results, conduct feasibility studies, and evaluate advanced and innovative technologies
• Provide engineering support for business and manufacturing processes (Design to Cost / Design for Manufacturing)

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering – mandatory
• At least 5 years of experience in multidisciplinary system development – mandatory
• Experience with missile and weapon systems or familiarity with airborne systems and aircraft interfaces – an advantage
• Strong system-level understanding, multidisciplinary thinking, and continuous learning ability
• Independent, team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills
