Hardware Team Lead Autonomous Systems

About the role A fast growing drone company is looking for a Hardware Team Lead to join its engineering group working on advanced autonomous systems. This is a leadership role with full responsibility over hardware development from early design stages through production and deployment, with direct impact on next generation products.

Responsibilities • Lead and grow a hardware team including planning priorities mentoring and recruitment • Take full ownership of hardware development from architecture through board design bring up validation and production • Ensure system reliability through deep technical analysis and continuous improvements • Work closely with integration mechanical manufacturing quality and project teams to support delivery • Manage engineering changes bill of materials and component strategy while balancing cost and availability • Support compliance with industry and regulatory standards and work with external labs when needed • Build and improve testing infrastructure and ensure proper validation processes

Requirements • BSc in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or similar • At least three years of experience managing engineering teams and strong background in board design • Hands on experience with PCB design bring up and debugging • Experience taking products from development to mass production including production support • Experience working in regulated environments and with certification processes • Strong communication skills ability to prioritize and drive execution

Advantages • Experience in drones robotics or autonomous systems • Background in RF or embedded systems • Experience with hardware design tools such as Altium or similar • Knowledge in sensing technologies or radar systems
