System Engineer – Electronic Payloads (RF)

For a leading defense aerospace division specializing in advanced airborne platforms, we are looking for an experienced System Engineer – Electronic Payloads (RF).

Responsibilities:

Lead and participate in development and procurement processes מול subcontractors for advanced electronic payloads and applications, including SIGINT systems (ELINT / COMINT), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Radar systems (SAR / MPR). Prepare technical specifications, design reviews, engineering documentation review and approval, acceptance testing, development and validation trials, including AI-based data fusion capabilities. Lead and support end-to-end (E2E) payload integration into unmanned aerial systems (UAS), including requirements definition, interface management, environmental considerations, integration design, system integration, testing, and operational trials. Provide engineering support in customer-facing activities, including technical proposals, engineering responses for business development needs, technical reporting, documentation, training materials, fault investigations, and corrective action implementation.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science – mandatory At least 5 years of experience in electronic systems development (preferably military airborne systems) – mandatory Proven experience in product development and system integration processes, including writing engineering specifications Experience working with subcontractors and customers Advantage: experience leading development of avionics assemblies and payload integration into airborne platforms Familiarity with airborne intelligence payload systems, including payloads and pods Strong expertise and hands-on experience with RF systems Familiarity with the UAV/UAS domain
