Satellite Systems Engineer
A leading space systems center is seeking a Satellite Systems Engineer to join its space division and take part in the development of advanced satellite systems.
About the Role The position includes end-to-end responsibility for system-level engineering activities, from early definition through integration and verification:
- Definition and specification of system requirements, processes, and overall system architecture
- Leadership and ownership of system design activities
- Modeling system components and defining interfaces between subsystems
- Participation in internal and customer-facing design reviews
- Close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams: electronics, mechanics, electro-optics, control, wireless communications, software, and subcontractors
- Involvement in system integration, verification, and validation activities
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Physics / Aerospace Engineering / Electro-Optics / Mechanical Engineering – mandatory
- M.Sc. in Systems Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Physics / Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering – advantage
- At least 3 years of experience leading design processes of complex systems (System of Systems) – mandatory
- Experience with space systems – advantage
- Experience in airborne systems and/or electro-optical systems – advantage
- High-level English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)
